So after doing some digging it doesn't look like anyone has started a thread for this yet. Post up your bumpers (Front/rear) and let everyone know what you think! I know there are a few companies out there that have already started production on this (BAM, Pelfreybilt, CIB, Relentless, etc). Thanks!

    Love these bumpers!
They fit straight and tight everywhere they touch the frame. The shackle mounts are pure beef.

    Problems:
They are missing a few parts that CBI has shipped.... So if you get these, check the parts list ASAP.

The trailer wiring isn't long enough to reach the new location (bit of an oversight IMHO).

If you choose the coat yourself option, everything needs rounded off with a flap wheel. Don't get me wrong, their welds and smoothing are beautiful... It's the edges of the plate and such.

    Overall, I'm happy for sure!
Only a few out there with this design type, and I liked CBI's whole package the best.

On the rear bumper is there license plate lights? I can't tell from the picture. Also do you know if the bumper is rated to tow or certified?
How the fit and finish on the front bumper up close? Also how does the wheel liner anchor to the new bumper?
    Thanks

You replace the factory lights with one LED light on the right. The left side gets the trailer wiring.

I doubt there is a tow rating. This way, if it comes apart it's your ass, not theirs. It is however beefy as hell and at least as strong as the factory unit (the way I see it, as a 5 year engineer, who doesn't specialize in towing devices).

    The fit is:

    To the frame - great
To the body - as good as you can cut
To the grill - there is a gap. More than I'd like, but it isn't bad. I'll do some close-ups soon to show this.

The wheel liner gets trimmed also, so it doesn't attach to the bumper.

Mobtown? I have an RCI on order. Fell in love with it the first time I saw it. I do like that as well, maybe it's just the pictures, welds look strange on the recovery points?

Yes, Mobtown. I didn't see any problem with the welds.
And I retained the factory license plate lights.

Where does the trailer wiring relocate to on that one?

Great idea... And it probably actually works too unlike mine that won't reach.

Love the extra beef with that 2" receiver bar going that wide too.

    Thanks for the pic.

The inside of the CBI for comparison:

    Sorry, only pic of inside.

Do they make weld on sliders as well? I am guessing they are made of HREW or are the DOM tubing? At some point I would like to replace my factory "sliders" that Toyota gave me with some real ones. I have always been a fan of BAM but am open to new ones.

I don't think I saw a weld on option, but there is a DOM upgrade available, which I opted for.
You'd be hard pressed to convince me that weld on sliders are THAT much better though. These things are hell for stout, have a brace plate that is thicker than the frame and wraps around it, mount with through bolts and "J" hardware, and support the weight of the truck just fine.

Will they hold up to repeated slamming on rocks all day as well as welded ones?... Don't know, and to be honest I won't know until it's paid off, but I'd bet they would. Until it gets used harder, this is primarily an "overlanding" and camping rig that gets my dirt bike to the middle of nowhere. I'll do all my stupid shit on that machine.

The only real concern that I have, is the potential for moisture to get between the plates and frame. Well, that and the mud they transfer to my pants!

Searching for my 2016 TRD Sport
I'm definitely in the market for a new bumper, both rear and front. Was looking for a grille guard but may just have to do whats best for price. Here are the two I'm looking at:

Fab Four and keep my grille. Does anyone know typically how much a bumper/grille guard install like this would cost somewhere? Ballpark figure is fine.

Or get the Avid Armor and upgrade my grill, which I am told I can install myself (copied from member moe2o4)
