Dry. Light. Warm. Clean. Literally no setup time. Just put the truck in park and set the brake.

Now if you want to get fancy, it takes exactly 20 minutes from Park to popping a beer top.
Levelers. Chocks. Awning. Chairs. Chips n dip. Coozies. Beer.

 

Yeah, what Iggy said. Hard roof, standing height, interior space, and euro EAF.

 

That thing is sweet and simple. I really like trailers, but hardly go back to the same campsite.



Like going up this, then driving 60 mph on a graded dirt road, going through another canyon, then ending up camping 30 miles southwest from that climb. Then doing it again the next day. I could have the order wrong though- it was all a magical blur.



Another issue is that I take the truck, by myself sometimes, down dead- end or blocked trails. I wouldn't attempt any of that with a trailer.

The main point is that camping is my hobby. I'm going to put a lot of effort into making it awesome. Aside from work and family, I have no life. It's sad really.



5 minute setup. 2.5 if I didn't pull the stuff out of the truck.

Exactly. I've done the same thing quite a few times since then. Like 3 weeks ago in the rain after midnight by myself in the forest. I should plan better, but sometimes it's fun not to.

 

Right on track Bret. Ideal you want to run as close to 0 as possible the more positive you go the harder it's going to be on the front end components
