i went into toyota in march looking for an offroad.. after a few minutes i was told that in canada the off road isnt offered in a double cab and i could only get the access cab...
i didnt care about having the short or long box but i needed a double cab.
so that is why i bought my sport and im sure thats why 99 percent of canadians ended up with a sport in 2016
i should have waited until 2017 because now we have the offroad in a doublecab...:frusty:

I wanted the scoop. Yep, the scoop. The salesman told me about the stuff on the OR and said "you know the scoop has no function" I said said watch this, looked at the scoop and smiled. "it makes me happy" That is a function people. Having ADHD makes me unable to crawl anywhere. I run...

    Really? Let me try.

The OR looks better than the Sport.

Hmm... Seems like I just said it.

I also happen to believe it. You may not. That's fine.

Dam, back to the skirt again. If I keep thinking about skirts, I won't get anything done today.

How much HP is needed to combat the additional drag?

I was wondering about that, I would think that it has been designed to not increase drag that much. I wonder if there are any wind tunnel vids.

"Exterior work wasn't only focused on looks but also reducing aerodynamic drag. Through extensive wind tunnel testing the engineering team was able to remove an astonishing 23 pounds of drag, or the equivalent of a sprinter's training parachute from the truck."

The question still remains: what was added back by integrating the scoop?

I wasn't lighting anything, I was just explaining why I got a sport.

MPG is even worse with the hood up. And way harder to see.

Be like the cool kids, and leave your hood at home, and drive it hoodless. More engine cooling that way :D
