Mistype? Or is there a 250 ecoboost now? I love the new Superduty. Which engine did they get, diesel or gas?

They are extremely large. I'd absolutely love if I could buy a modern 3/4 ton truck built on the same scale as my '84. That'd be mint.

The GF drinks Tequila with Triple Sec, a dash of bitters, and Sprite. All drink orders seem normal after that.

 

I had one as a rental. First day took some getting used to. By the second day I was driving it with the full on Napoleon complex. I loved it

 

Where the hell can you get an F250 rental??

Wow, never seen one as an option

 

My coworkers were on a business trip in Cali with one. They got tboned by a guy doing 60mph. That truck saved their lives because if they were in a standard sedan they would have been wrecked. Besides whiplash they came out fine.

 

Seems like a lot of "assholery" driving stories here, so I got one from yesterday.

Ran to the local mall to get my hair cut on my lunch break since it's literally a minute up the road. Pulled into the parking lot behind a yellow bug. Chick driving it.

So I stopped because she was backing into a parking spot. As she was just about all the way in, I proceeded by starting to move slowly so I could keep going to find a parking spot. Mind you I wasn't even near her. She inched forward a bit out of no where and slammed on her breaks, followed by giving me the stink eye and saying go and motioning for me to go. As she did that, I stopped and motioned for her to go, since apparently her parking skills are SHIT. Kept giving me the stink eye like I did something wrong. WTF??!!

We used to service Enterprise's rental fleet when I worked at a garage, and there were a couple of F150's and F250's that came back totally destroyed because they'd been off roaded (poorly) by the renters.

You were supposed to wait until she'd parked successfully, then applaud wildly.

 

Dayum! Those are big money. I started pricing out an F250 diesel just for fun a little while back. I stopped when I rolled over $60k.

 

My cousin is picking up his new F350 diesel superduty today. He is all kinds of pumped up about it.

 

Ouch. Hopefully he's got a business that he can write it off to. Diesel one-tons are crazy money now, if you check any of the options boxes at all.

Congrats to him, though!

 

Guess it might also depend on the Enterprise location. Only places I've rented trucks from Enterprise was in the middle of a city. Biggest they would always have was a Frontier - but that is most likely because F250's don't do so well in downtown Pittsburgh.

 

He does, his accountant told him he had to buy a truck before the year end. Construction is very good right now in the Northeast! And if I know my cousin, the 1 ton is loaded. What's that, an $80k truck or something?
