I know that life. It's a big deal when you buy a new truck and bring it home to find out it doesn't fit in your garage!

Almost bought an F150 a couple of years ago and didn't because I took it home on a test drive and it would not fit in the garage!

What is the length of the garage? I'll be trying the same thing next year at my house. If the Taco is the actual overall length I found in the specs it should fit. If not, it's driveway life for the new truck.

You'll probably be good with the specs you found. I went with what I found through Edmunds and it must be very close. I had 12in exactly to spare in my garage and the truck fits with just about that much extra. I had ordered my truck and stressed the whole time I waited. Fitting the truck In my garage was one of my main reasons for going midsized.

Ps: my garage is 224in and I have the DCSB

Ok thanks! That's just about the same size as my garage.. I think I have another 6 inches more than that maybe. I'll have to move a shelf but it should fit.

Yeah at that length you'll be good if your getting a DCSB or shorter. Man I was so stressed driving home hoping it would fit. It wouldn't be the end of the world if it didn't. But I'd be pissed if I bought a new truck and it had to sit outside when I had a perfectly good garage (well other than being too short).

Oh believe me, I get it. We finally have a house with a garage for the first time in my life and the thought of having to park the new truck outside was already annoying me. I think I've measured the garage depth and compared it to the Tacoma length probably 10 times already.

Nice fit! That's actually a pretty decent sized garage for a condo. Looks like its wide enough for the rest of your toys too.

Hope your door to the house is on the driver's side..... So you don't have to crawl over the truck....

This was one reason I traded off my Tundra for my Tacoma. It's already been nice not having to brush snow off the truck before leaving for work at 5am. Not worrying about my truck being messed with in general has been amazing.

How do you like the handling on the DCLB? I'd really prefer a longer bed, but I'm done with parking my crew cab long bed Ram 1500. Parking lots are a nightmare, and parallel parking in the city ain't happening!
