What UCA's did you get? An alignment nut is usually located on the lower control arm where the coilover bolts to the lower control arm. Maybe yours fell out or is backwards?

Awesome! What was the problem? Put up some pictures when you get a chance. I'd like to see how the lift turned out.

I almost installed the alignment nut backwards the a couple weeks ago when I was reinstalling my coilover after I got it back from Icon for a warranty rebuild. Figured this was probably the culprit!

Right on, @ChandlerDOOM said that Austin had it tucked away waiting for the parts to arrive. I just got the title papers for the new trailer as they got separated from the trailer and once I get a tag on it I plan to keep my promise to Bob to bring it over so he can finger poke it a bit.

For those who have ordered bumpers/sliders from the west coast.....

How long have you typically waited in shipping time?
I'm planning to buy sliders in March and hoping they will arrive in time for lone star in May.
I haven't decided specifically who I'll be buying from yet. But they'll be weld on's with a kickout.

Also any ideas of who to go to to have them welded on? Or if it's simple enough, that someone has the skills and equipment to teach me to do it myself? Would love to do as much on my own on this truck to actually learn useful skills.

I think mine took a week or so to ship/receive.

And contact Austin at Wolf Fab for getting them welded on. @G.T. can help with that. He does great work.

I just ordered some sliders from Relentless Fabrication and it's 8 to 10 weeks with powder coating. I looked through many different options and found them to be exactly what it wanted. The relentless signature kick out is functional and looks really cool. They certainly were not the cheapest. It really stinks having to wait for good stuff but feel it is worth it in the long run. I went with the bolt on setup vs the welded. They are just as strong and it's leaves your options open.

Personally just buy the cheapest ones you can buy, I bought a pair of 4xinnovations on black friday for under $200 and had them welded on for $40-60. Majority of sliders are all the same, plus no one will even know who made them unless you said something or their logo is easily identified on the side. Most people think my sliders are pelfreybilt, but they are actually the cheapest ones you can buy and Have slammed them on more occasions than I can recount and never had them bend or dent. Material is material no matter who it comes from

If you are buying for a bigger name company and powered coated be cautious when it comes to lead time, let them know upfront when you need them. I think 2 months may be cutting it close for some companies especially if they just took in a couple hundred orders for whatever sale

Like @Sacrifice said just got see Austin, he will take care of you and even let you help if you wish

I know the feeling. In the middle of a 12 week wait for a BAMF grille. It's so frustrating

I plan on going with RCI off road sliders. From what I've heard bolt on is just as strong as weld but you can take them off if you ever need to. RCI is saying a 6 week lead time during holiday season

    Thanks for the advice!
I will most likely go with cheaper ones if they work the same, especially if I need to buy them earlier.
Probably will not have them powder coated by the fab place. I want to paint them pink somehow, haha.

Edit: thinking now I'll just throw the cost on my 0% card after the first just to be super safe. Gives me time to have them finished by spring.

Sliders will get blasted from your tires no matter what reason why I opted against powder. Sure it will hold up a little better but after enough time and even just road debris they will chip and rust, just the nature of where they are mounted. I use whatever I can to paint them, after they are welded on roll on is the easiest since you don't have to tape anything off. You may be able to order some raptor liner (or whatever) tinted to the color of your choosing and have some left over for your yearly touch up.

Sliders is money well spent no matter what you choose
