Ride characteristics of PreRunner vs TRD Sport

There are probably a few older threads out there, but I have been wondering what the ride differences (besides 4x2 vs 4x4) of the 2012 SR5 PreRunner and the TRD Sport are. I want to say I have read and/or heard that the 3rd Gen TRD packages have a different ride than the SR5 and the Limited, with the OffRoad package obviously having more off-roading suspension; but that the Sport was more aggressive than the Limiteds.

Any non-trolls want to give me some info?

 

in the 2nd gen it goes as follows.


SR5 / TRD sport use linear coils up front and the larger swaybar (2mm bigger diameter)

TRD Offroad use a progressive wound coil and the smaller swaybar

Both TRD sport and Offroad use "upgraded" bilstien shocks vs the stock black shocks of the sr5.


Everything before a manufacture date of october 2013 had a mishmosh of rear springs. From what i have figured out You were pretty much guaranteed to get the 3+1 leaf pack on the rear of the sport, the offroad always came with the 2+1, and the sr5 came with the 3+1 if it had a towing package.


Needless to say the SR5 and sport will ride nearly the same
