I got a question for ya, I glanced at your build and noticed you have the TRD exhaust as well as intake. I have the TRD exhaust tip on mine and was curious if it might be beneficial at all in looking into the CAI system? I know the CAI can make for a snappier response and sound, but wasn't sure if there were more capabilities than that with this combination?

    "Tacoma-world" bait quality:
-2012 baja (in a 16+ Cai sales thread)
    - " i have a stamped TRD exhaust tip
-snarky inquisition into 3rd gen aftermarket parts fitment on a 2nd gen

The bait is neither funny, nor good.

I'll rest my case and leave Jordan to his safe space. It's sad too, because this forum can be incredibly helpful, yet was overrun and destroyed virtually in weeks.

The traffic the TRD-PRO release brought in was the death of useful 3rd gen discussion.

But not without a final jab at the guy who's just trying to help other members out right?

I was looking for some honest insight here. I know I am a second gen here, but Im sure the mechanical philosophy of the CAI remains the same in regards to design. Some items on the third gen are significantly different from other gens and some are not, sorry that I don't stay within the 2nd gen arena.

Sorry OP as I realize I may be clouding up things in this holiday sales thread. Back on topic.

Dont spend much time in the 3rd gen section but last i seen people were actually getting decent gains from an intake with these? Isn't there a full thread with multiple dyno results.

    Seriously!

I am just here to help. If you dont like that I am offering EVERYONE on tacoma world EMPLOYEE pricing on my entire website, then you dont have to buy from me. God forbid I go out of my way to try and help this entire forum out.

I dont make salary, and I dont make money off what I sell. I chose to do this. My boss didnt tell me "het got get on tacoma world and try to sell shit" I did this on my own accord being I own a Tacoma and I had been a member on TacomaWorld previously, and wanted to give out some great deals.

In any case, I'm here to stay and keep helping everyone as best I can :)

Appreciate your efforts Jordan. Since these are for a 2017 Taco, was curious if you might have second gen CAIs as well? If so, would you be able to offer any deals on those as well?

OK who wants the fucking TRD intake already?? Jeese.. ask a simple ass question and all the simpltons show up and instead if answering they talk shit.

Why?? Because 3rd Gen that's why.

Now to put my money where my mouth is and I've been wanting this part since it came out..... HEY OP - shoot me a PM, I'll buy myself and holiday gift AND put it on my wife's credit card.... BOOM.

Thank you very much! I will go nicely with my TRD air filter and my cat back exhaust, FTMFW and I have already better performance so it should mate up nicely.
Blah blah blah..... because mall crawl, should sound saweet when going holiday shopping.

3rd-gen TRD CAI ships with the TRD air filter, or at least it should.

    Wow. This thread is amazing.

CAI's on most modern vehicles sound different (some like it, some hate it... I dig it) and sometimes offer small increases (or decreases) in performance. One big benefit is a usually higher quality, washable air filter. Are you going to get multiple hundreds of dollars of value in increased fuel economy, performance, or filter replacement savings? Hell no. Is it your own damn vehicle and you can do what you please with it? Yep.

It's like Youtube comments up in here

Like my Mom once said; "It's my shit, if I wanna take it out back and burn it, that's what I'm gonna do." O-kay, problem solved.
