cut the power off the battery of my 01 and now my alarm wont go off..HELP!

    i disconnected the negative feed of the battery to swap out the thermostat on my 01 tacoma. when i was finished, i went to reconnect the negative feed and the alarm went crazy. How do i cut the alarm and hook it up without it freaking out? please help

    you could pull the fuse for the alarm.

    i looked at the fuse box..but didnt see any alarm fuse.how is it labeled?

    1) Reattach the battery's lead
    2) Pull Alarm clicker out of pocket
    3) Push button on alarm clicker.

    I assume this is an aftermarket alarm? Should be a fuse off the positive battery post about 12" away. Just follow that....
