Lady pulled out in front of me, totaling my wifes car. (of course she had no issuance) Wife wanted a Prius for our DD. So instead of having car payment I traded in my Sierra for a Prius/Taco package.

For what it's worth I paid $42,500 for the Chevy, so yeah it's more than the Tacoma.

Yeah. Tell you what- I would have never ordinarily picked heated steering wheel as an option, but this truck had it in the package and when it's -23 it's fuck*ng heaven!!

Heated seats, cooled seats, heated steering wheel, and the new heated scarf..these are things no one appreciates till they have them once

I owned a 2003 ranger it was bulletproof for 160k miles. That's more than I can say for my 3rd gen. My GMC Sierra Denali was also flawless for 4 years until I decided to downsize again

Are Cherokee better built than wranglers?

I always here high mileage Cherokee stories

But wrangler stories are how unreliable they are ; which makes no sense given how simple they are

Might have something to do with how they're used. The wrangler won best retained value award this past year. 2nd place was taco

XJ's and 4.0's are amazingly durable.

My son learning to off-road in the XJ

Robust design, body not prone to rot, decent interior and great off road ability, arguably more so than a taco.

    Certainly not a 'pos'.

XJ's, especially 98-00 models fetch HIGH prices for a really good reason.

Horse people around here (Texas) will spend $70K plus on a truck, then another $100K plus on an aluminum trailer with living quarters. No idea where they are getting their money. Of the two horses I've owned, all they ever did was cost me money.

If I owned a Raptor and you pulled up in your midsized Taco and called me a fanboy, oh boy would that give me a chuckle.

Horse people are quite rich around here

I imagine in Texas they are even richer

I didn't upgrade my satellite to a DVR for years because I didn't see the value in skipping a few commercials. If I had to now, I'd pay a couple hundred bucks a month for it.

Raptor owners roll up their windows if a taco bro even wants to talk to them

It's like a 320i owner trying to talk to a alpina b7 owner

    As If sucka!
