Lol I watched the last star wars while my wife was away on demand

 

Anyone have any experience with the new Motorola phones? My note 3 is pushing 3.5 years old and has been pretty well used and abused. I'd love a new.note 7 if they weren't exploding or a pixel but damn $650 for a phone is steep. I'm still on an original Iphone unlimited data + text w/700 minutes (unlimited to other att customers) plan and don't want to give it up. No one does the old give them $200 and a new 2 year contract and get a new phone deal anymore. You've either got to lease it or pay full price. Not going to lease one cause that's stupid.

I had 2 Motorola phones (atrix/atrix 2) before getting my note 3 and they were good phones. Thinking about the moto z play since it's got a $50 best buy gift card if you but it from there now.

Anyone have any real world.experience with one?

 

Make some bbq beef in it. 2-3 lbs beef roast, 1 bottle of sweet baby rays bbq sauce, 6 hrs on high and then shred it. Easy to do with just a little work involved.

 

I've got the Nexus 6, which is a Motorola phone. I've had it for a few years and it's wonderful. It actually has all the features of the new iPhone and a headphone jack. If you don't mind having something that isn't brand new I'd recommend this.

 

I'm an HTC fan myself. The Pixel is an HTC phone. I'm torn between that and the 10. The Desire line is cheaper and still good.

 

I've only had samsung and Motorola. I like that the new Motorolas are pretty close to pure android similar to the nexus phones.

 

I've got a Samsung. It doesn't really do anything well, and it's kind of crappy as far as actually being a phone goes. But, it's also a couple of years old now and is a base model, too.

 

Right now I'm on an Iphone 4 because I washed my Iphone 6 a few months ago. I can upgrade in January and am leaning towards the Pixel

 

This whole thing of having to pay for the phone monthly and such is a crock of shit in my opinion. That's what's holding me back from upgrading my phone. Technically I'm on a Galaxy S4, but it started bugging the F out so bought an S5 from someone selling it on here and been using that.

 

I have had five samsung phones and I will never go back. Currently have an HTC one M8 and love it! Two years and no issues. Only thing against it is the bloatware from Sprint.

 

I still have an HTC M8. Been a great phone with the abuse it's taken.

I don't like the trend of non expandable storage and non removable battery the new phones are going through

 

I leased our phones because like you said no one offers pay a small amount with a 2 year contract deals anymore. I figured it out and it was way cheaper to lease a phone for 2 years than to buy 2 phones that would only last 2 years anyways (I can never seem to get them to last longer). With this said I only pay $15 a month per phone (so about $360 per phone) and it looks like they have all gone up to $26-$28 a month for 24-30 months. Makes you wonder what's the next way they will think of to screw us the consumer over???

 

I have the VZW M8. I rooted mine to remove the bloat.

I like my note 3,-however there is a lot of bloatware and I'd have to buy one full price which isnt cheap

 

One of the reasons I'm leaning towards the Pixel is I have read that it has hardly any bloatware on it. And coming from iOS, that would annoy the hell outta me.

 

I have a 32gb memory card in mine. It's great for keeping all my music.

 

Stupid apps.the.carrier/conpany loads onto the phone that you cant delete. For.example att has their own navigation app that you cant remove and would have to subscribe to and pay for to use

 

I mean they definitely cook but have never used one of those. They do a lot of old school stuff. My dad makes a mean octopus!
