What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

You can save yourself like 60 dollars and make one. I bought the kit from Pop'n'lock and realized it's just a power door lock actuator, a set of wires and a mount. The only "difficult" thing would be the mount, the rest is pretty easy to figure out. As for install it's super easy. Just follow the instructions found in the threads here

I'll be honest. Not much of a "crafty" person, so making something like that myself spells DISASTER and FRUSTRATION.

Took her out in the dunes yesterday, steering Column came loose and it slid in and out of place so I took her over to my buddy's, he had her done in 30 minutes!

 

Is there any way from stoping the clutch oil from freezing up by changing it to a different brand or will all oils freeze

 

Got a Westin bed mat coming tomorrow and just ordered some Husky Weatherbeater floor liners, too good of a deal to pass up on Amazon for $130. Also hope to install my new rear speakers this weekend, weather permitting.

Anyone have any opinion regarding the weatherbeaters and the xact liners? In reading up on them the weatherbeaters seems to be more rubbery if that makes sense.

 

I have the x-act and get no slippage. Haven't really felt the weather beaters to compare to though. I also have the Tacoma rubber mat on top of my husky's

 

Yeah I was torn between the 2, but they had the deal on the Weatherbeaters, so they were about $70 cheaper than the x-acts, too good of a deal to pass up. I will eventually be getting black seat covers, so I wanted floor liners to match.

 

I ended up getting the brown and black ones

 

Installed some new radio knobs today thanks to @wileydavis and the fine folks at Hondo Garage. Beefier and easier to grab than the pathetic little nubbins that came stock.

 

Nice!!!!!! How hard are they to replace, and how much $$??

 

The stock knobs take a little aggressive pulling, but they will come off. These slide on and you tighten them down with the worlds smallest set screw. They have a discount code (5rolledtacos) and were $17.05 to my door.
