Safari Stearing Rack from a 2000 4runner-$150 plus ship

I bought this new from safari in 2014. Installed by Toyota dealer. Used for approximately 12,000 miles.I do wheel pretty hard but am very particular in how the truck drives and feels. One day while poking around I thought that the guide was loose and decided to replace the rack with an oem one. I ordered that from camelback and had it installed. The mechanic asked about the safari rack he was pulling out as he saw nothing wrong with it. After I got the new oem one installed I realize the amount of play in the guide is the same as it is on the safari I replaced. So I don't know that there is anything wrong with it. I'm thinking it is still of value to someone. Specifically someone that would have the gumption to change it themselves. If anyone has interest and or wants to see me jiggle it, Let me know!! I'll put up some pics later today when I pull from shed. Thanks for looking.

Do those bars work on 3rd gen? I live in FoCo..super interested but I assume 2nd gen only?

 

Yeah, I'm pretty sure the bed widths are different... I've only had interest from guys with 3rd gens and I don't believe they fit

 

3rd gens are 1.5 inches wider on either side

 

If I bought the 3 bar setup from relentless would that net work? I think it would be such a little difference in width it would still work? I dig the shit out of that net. PM if you like, interested in the price tag on just that if the bars won't work..or if you are willing to separate

 

Wish there was a "don't like" button...not because of you...just the bed variance!

2009 Gary Fisher Rig Single Speed 29er in Large. I just lowered the price on Craigslist to $400 but would probably take a little less from a TW member. It's a great ride and nothing is wrong with it. Just selling because I bought a new toy.

 

2015 TRD Sport 17" wheels and 265/65r17 Dunlap Grandtrek AT20 tires. Took them off at 7k miles. Tires have 9/32 (11/32 new)and are in great shape. Comes with TPMS and lug nuts.
