Zee Germans introduced this feature in the 90s. I think he's just pointing out that the Tacoma is a little late to the party.

I never saw that on my iPhone when I connected. Mine was a one-time upgrade to the app.

Dunno. This is on their website. Maybe it used to be a one time fee and now it's a subscription. I know when I tried to change my lane change blink count that it told me I had to pay.

If that's the case now, then that FREAKING SUCKS. I hate subscription BS. I did this mod to my Taco <1yr ago, and it was a one-time fee.

one would assume that any change outlined in the book that can only be done by the dealer carista can do. beyond that? that's if there is a beyond that!

Guess they changed the blinker fluid in mine to a thicker viscosity to get them to 5 blinks.

hahahaha! Service manager even got on, said NOPE, no such thing exists, I said well, there's
a lot of people saying they had theirs changed, guess they're all lying. I swear to fuk Haley Toyota
is THE worst place I've ever dealt with. Never easy with them, always some kind of bs to deal with.

Just got a call......we didn't bother checking the box, parts were missing for the TSB so we
have to keep it at least another day.

Anyone have any idea HOW in techstream it's changed so I can convey that
information to the - "TOYOTA MASTER TECHNICIAN" that's telling the service manager
that no such setting exists to make that change?

Sorry, best I could find, not sure if that's right.
