Doesn't matter. I live where that will be and is already happening. People all have at least double wide driveways that are at least 3 cars long so every house in the neighborhood can fit 6 cars in the driveway and 2 or 3 in the garage (when not filled with other crap) Bunch have cars in street sometimes in front of more than just their house and an empty driveway every day night or predawn( I roll out to work around 4 a.m. so I see it all the time).......same set of cars every day....and no basketball goal for kids to use...and all the time not just when they have company....and not just on occasion. I'm not even addressing occasionally. We all have occasions. I'm addressing the constant "rules are for everyone else" people who cry like babies the second they are not given consideration or respect but have no clue about giving something they expect from others.

What you are talking about is people being too lame to deal with their own car jockeying when they have that many and lazin out and making their problem into other people's that do deal with their issues without it becoming someone else's. That is caca del toro.

Easier said than done once entrenched in a career and mortgage and have to consider the wife and her career. 30 miles one way to work is plenty. 75 to live in places with no HOA is not reasonable for us. It wouldn't matter so much if people would not act like they are the only ones around and whatever they feel like doing has no affect on other people. Believe me if I had the option to live out away from all this metro bullshit and still make a living in my industry I'd be there. This far into it is not just some simple whim decision that doesn't fuck us around.

    I agree!

I'd rent before I paid an HOA! I don't know what metro area your in, but I find it surprising that there are NO HOA-free areas close to the city.

If renting a house, you're paying the HOA fee as a pass-thru of course. :D

If renting in an HOA then yes, but at least I wouldn't have to try and sell the house in an HOA!

This is as far as I could get before laughing and giving up.

Don't get me wrong, I despise the neighbors parking in front of my house, but the whole "goal" thing hit me by surprise, and gave me a good chuckle. thank you

selling a HOA home is nothing special, same as any other. It's just a matter of staying within the HOA covenance when you own it...
and it's good to bash HOA's once in a while...

It's more difficult to sell a home in an HOA because many people like myself won't even look at them. Shrinking the number of potential buyers you'll have to make an offer.

My neighbor is a music teacher and has clients come and go all day long... Little white car parks like that ALL THE TIME. This is not a one time thing....

Yeah. The way the white car parked on the first photo, there would be absolutely no way for me, or the neighbor directly across from me, get out of our garages. The complex has plenty of parking, you just have to walk 100 yards, yet these people still park there. HOA has been notified by multiple people, multiple people spoke to the guy, yet this shit has been going on for 3 years now.
