Wasn't expecting to be partaking in the parking lot mods but shit why not. I'd like to order that stuff that's in the link box below here but it won't be here in time for the meet. I'll stop on my way home and pick up some heat shrink though.

Just make sure whatever shrink you get is long enough, color coded, and wide enough for your connector gauge.

So glad I have an 18 yr old truck. I actually get happy when I take out the sawzall. It's like I'm some sort of sick pervert.

Supporting my whole truck on some sort of caging got to the better half of my addiction. Nothing moves or breaks away more. I really hate the factory sheet metal.

What product were you thinking about going with? I like the color options and the ability to roll on paint (painted houses a few years ago before I went back to school) with Monstaliner. I was thinking about that for a future no f's given paint job once my truck isn't a dd. Still would like it to look good though and I like some of their subdued colors that would look pretty sweet on a modern truck.

By judging from his wiring and inside compartment cleanliness I'm thinking he's a Crayola kinda guy.

Makes sense being brand new, but nothing to be afraid of. The location for the CMC isn't noticeable.

I have some pictures from when I had mine done if this helps.

I saw the connectors in a photo and saw they weren't heat shrunk. Maybe the photo was taken too soon? The stiffeners I got when @itaro posted a feeler for them to get a discount. He'll be able to tell you where he got them. Also, your bed rack. Where is that from again?

Ohh yeah. Not all of them have heat shrink. If i do another run of kits they will probably get actual waterproof connectors instead.

Rack is from allpro. And is also up for sale ;) Gotta sell the tent first though..

Thanks ill PM @itaro for the info

Main reason I use it on the topper is because it's a quality uv protectant so it will help keep it from fading super bad and it helps seal the canvas and makes it a lot easier for clean up after trail runs. And most important when it's all clean it looks sick driving to the mall :burnrubber::burnrubber:

I welded that one up for him. It's a pretty nice design they did.
