    You could bolt something on - but it would look pretty hokey and now you've introduced a different point of failure.

    Struggled trying to decide. I do a bit of everything. If it's built right aluminum will stand up to most tests. I know a buddy who got hit in his aluminum bumper and all there was was a bent shackle mount. It still works and functions and can be used

    Just the bumper without a tow package is about 50lbs. with the tow package... not really sure, its a little heavier than my relentless. My truck had the tow package and i think i dropped about 5-10lbs why i put on the relentless bumper.

    But with an aluminum bumper i guess you would have all that weight back when you add the swing outs and gear to the rear end...

    Haha they said the same to me a while back... Happy I went with steel from @RelentlessFab though.
