Yep driving around in cloudy / foggy weather is nice when you've got those style glasses . I remember 15 years ago driving a 10 ton bobtail over the Grapevine in inclement weather . The vsability was so much better with yellow lens

Good evening, well not too bad so far. Before I left this morning the temps kept dropping and realized as I was walking out the door the new remote thermometer keeps the previous days high and current temps.

Working from home tomorrow snow starts at noon and goes until Saturday at 1800. Alerts for zero visibility and blowing drifting snow already issued.

Pics of the smoked brisket are mandatory! And smoker setup, etc. And it is NEVER too cold to smoke. On the other hand I see the temps in Scottsdale and Jax, Fl. all year and they fly me into those places, usually in the summer. Then you can just put a brisket in a metal can and let those 3 digit temps smoke it! :p

Actually a couple of years ago they did send me in Jan. and on the weekend went and did the Apache trail for old time sakes. The superstition mountains headed North had just got some snow and as I put gas in the rental car a lady asked if I came up from the Valley to see the snow. I tried hard and managed to choke out an erh NO! They charged me an extra $120 to clean the car when I checked it back in at the airport

Have a great time with the kids and hope everything goes well for you, enjoy the time!

Post 4 Optics, I have 2 sets with all the lenses awesome shooting glasses. But keep the progressive reading glasses in one holder in the Taco and Serengeti Driving glasses in the other. And some people ask why the second gens have 2 glasses holders. phhh!

Made it home from Indiana yesterday. We took a slight detour to Blacksburg and had lunch with Christopher. The trip back took us 12 hours including our lunch stop. On a side note, the Tacoma gets a new windshield tomorrow. It took a rock on Tuesday night and has a rapidly growing crack in it.

    What did I miss?
    Anyone say anything profound?
    Anyone say anything stupid?
    Anyone get smacked by Sue?

He's painting it right now and it is 47 degrees outside ambient air temp and its raining currently plus winds are picking up

Trust me if I don't like it he's going to sand all the paint off and start all ovrr

So Greg said something profound? And then said something stupid? Or was it just profoundly stupid?
