    With the dual vvti it's got quite the flat torque curve, all the way from below 2k rpm:

    I still want to get an alloy-blocked version of it for a lotus 7 clone build, would be an amazing engine for autocross in that light a car...

    Oooo, where is this dyno from? Any details like mods, conditions, or wheels used? You said it was Dual VVTi so this can't be the tooter dyno...
    I'd love to dyno my truck someday with the LCE header, but unless my local shop does one of those charity dyno days I probably won't throw the money at it.

    Alloy block would be neat, but I think the dimensions might be too big!

    My guess is if they did that (turbo 2.7 package), they would probably be bringing back the X-Runner...

    Sounds pretty cool!

    Why would they turbo the 2.7L when they have a 2.0T ready to go?

    Dirt King Mid travel with King 2.5 coilovers, Baja Kits chase SUA with 14in fox smoothies under custom hangars.
    I don't think a 2.0t would be enough to get our 5,000lb trucks moving efficiently.
