Can you quote me where I said any truck was luxurious ? Next.
    Now the insults begin.

Don't understand why a Chevy guy is in here anyway. Feeling like they need reassurance ?

Neither did I. You are the quipper trying to make your own connection where none was implied by me.
My initial comment regarding 'luxury' was in reference to not being overly concerned about vehicle depreciation- a topic that, umm, YOU brought up.

    Nice try.

American trucks are cool and work well for ...... Maybe 5 years after they are bought. I have posted this before.... the windows will fall off the tracks and mounts... the dashboard will start rattling after the screw caps fall out... the headliner will start drooping and hit your dome. I can go on for ever about the new 'Mercan Full Suze Trucks!!!! " 'MERICA!!" Had a 1996 Tacoma with NO ISSUES!!!! Passed a California smog test on a dyno with 223,000 miles on it and it passed with no questions asked !!!!

    always found rolling coal stupid.
when you consider majority of them have a lope tune, and it's just running really rich with shit performance.
Only time lope tunes work is if they are for drag trucks paired with nitrous.

    Otherwise so stupid.
I can't even stand watching that show diesel brothers on discovery since they just make ugly stupid trucks.

If you aren't using the torque and diesel for anything useful.... probably a numbskull redneck. Have plenty of them here in Oceanside California due to the Camp Pendleton Marine Base here.

My last truck before the Taco was this-

Other than a cracked dashboard no issues. 225k on the odo. Bought 13 years ago for 18k and sold it for 14k.

Not sure if the sophomoric rant is entirely warranted, but go for it...

    My 2000 F250 rolled over 208k today.

Headliner doesn't droop, windows still in their tracks, the dashboard may rattle but if so I can't hear it over the exhaust/tires.

I did have to replace a PCV hose on the intake manifold, and a few coils (COPI)

Of course it is equipped with only the necessities (A/C, nice stereo, V10 manual trans and manual transfer case, manual locking hubs) so there's not much peripheral stuff to go bad.

I have owned dozens of cars and this has been one of the most reliable.

I just came from Camp Pendleton. True talk. Plenty of those morons everywhere apparently. Even in NY state the yanks think they're country.

I see them every once in a while in cottage country.
always find them to be pathetic and sad.

all the off road community laughs at them because they all put huge lifts, with big rims and low profile tires and say they wheel.
yet cry when their truck has a little mud on it.

After you put $15,00 into it.
i can almost bet that you dank as much money into that truck compared to how much you got back.

215,000 and still runs great, manual Windows work, headliner intact...

Oh and the tranny doesn't shift like an eppileptic on meth...

Nope. 1 fuel pump. Other than that normal wear and tear. Original injectors went with the truck, lol.

24v Cummins is one of the most utterly reliable engines made.

Edit- I take that back... I blew a return fuel hard line last year in Scobey, MT.. Had to layover in Glasgow for 2 days while part got flown in.

But with the camper and lots of hunting areas close to the repair shop I made due, lol.
