AKA "the boat section." Thanks for all that improvement, Caltrans. I want my money back.

Technically speaking Caltrans didn't do the improvement they just maintain it. They don't build our infrastructure they just do the best they can through the politics to maintain it

Youch. That little gap the Merced runs through is no joke.

They hire consultants and contractors to design and build it. Then they maintain it. It's their responsibility to specify what should be done, and inspect that it is being done correctly.

Not bad. I've never bought a cap there, but I've gotten quotes and bought some other accessories. Last time I was looking into a Snug top front slider to replace the wide open boot job on my old 1st gen cap that came with the truck.

Where the inbound road branches off to one-way... that bridge... (Pohono Bridge) the arches under the bridge were completely under water yesterday.

I spent yesterday and the day before performing an inspection at the army depot in tracy.

An inspection of two pull stations, a tamper valve, and a water flow switch with two notification appliances.

Two freaking days! Literally asinine but hey it pays right

I have no doubt. My company does a lot of work with them, but my group doesn't. Our contracts are with other hellish state and federal bureaucracies.

The Hubs deals with contracts for NPS. It's no joy from their side either.
