I just took my trd OR grill apart for paint and will tell you it's very brittle and cheap plastic. I doubt the pro grill is made of better materials... Considering the bamf grill is custom made I know where I'd spend my $.
This cost me about 17 bucks to do and I'm very happy with the looks. Just sayin:wink:

Lol, This coming from a guy that chose a 4x4 sport for a non functional hood scoop over a OR which gives you something useful like a Locker! I refuse to have a battle of wits with an unarmed person.

The pro grille is built with better materials
It feels a little heavier than the sport/OR
the sport/OR grille is pure garbage

Steel all day long! Just a tiny smudge on the grill after a ram backed into it and pushed me into another parked car:facepalm:

I think it was the rust on those, "BAMF grill materials" as you put it, that was the final straw that put me into the Pro Grille.

I'm in the most rust prone part of the world and there's not a speck on my bamf grill (8 months in). Pictures don't do the recessed grill justice, in person the pro grill is not in the same class.

Ur right , the pro is not in the same class, the pro it's a pro grille and the BAMF it's not.
U can talk to any graphic designer or any person that knows a little bit about aesthetics and their all going to agree that the pro grille it's a grille that make sense and was designed well and the BAMF grille it's a big piece a metal that doesn't belong in this truck . It's like two different things. My Hvac guy can built a better grille than that thing .
The curves on the metal don't follow the lines on the truck very well and the screw heads ? Really ?
But I'm glad you like your grille !

I try and use OEM whenever possible. If the Pro suspension would have been a higher lift then I would have used that too. Will be purchasing a Pro grill after Christmas. Much cleaner look.

I agree with his post. Being a graphic designer maybe I'm just biased, though. The BAMF grille just looks like something made to fill up a hole. The Pro grille has a purposeful design aesthetic. To each his own. I just think the BAMF grille looks bad and is overpriced.

That's debateable. Lol. I'd like to think I'm okay. I bought the BAMF for the very reason you described. It's simple and rough looking. I think simple is under appreciated these days. The pro grille no doubt looks good but is too busy for my taste. Everyone has their own opinion and their own taste I guess

I think the Custom Car grille wins: Aluminum. Light, strong, and won't rust. You can't have all 3 of those attributes with the Steel or Plastic. I'll be going this route when I save the funds up or if Santa thinks I was good. I have had the Custom Mesh website bookmarked since before I got my Taco.
