you can get a pack of velcro backed, battery powered led lights that you can stick anywhere for cheap. Ive been using these for a while to light my bed and under my RTT

I swooped up on an Amazon deal of a pair of LED pods about an inch tall and 5" long, gonna mount them up in my tent. I wanna say they are the cheap push the light type.

    Howdy all,

I've been lurking here long enough and will likely be pulling the trigger on an RTT within the next couple months after my new suspension (ICON stg3) has been installed. I have a couple of questions for all of you with first hand RTT experience:
    1) pg 512 states that CVT offers a 15% discount for forum members. Is there a discount code to apply in order to receive that at checkout?
    2) Is there likely to be any noticeable difference going down the road between a 130lb RTT vs a 180lb RTT (i.e. CVT Mt Shasta vs CVT Mt Shasta Summit)?

Thank you for all of your helpful insights so far and I look forward to joining the RTT camping ranks very soon!

#2 - Depends on how you plan on carrying it around. Up and above the cab height, I'll bet you'll notice that additional 50 pounds. Up to cab height, not so much... Everyone make compromises ;)

I think the most difference you'll notice is the wind resistance. Not sure about the discount code.

Leaving 3 days before Christmas and will be taking the most southern route possible to try and stay somewhat warm. 2016 double cab shortbed TRD OR with the following supplies so far for the trip:
    CBI 3rd gen overland bars

I used a set of RGB rock lights near the ladder and over the bed. works pretty well.

Tried asking this in therror Tepui thread...

Anybody with the Autana-R; can the annex be rolled up small enough to fit in a 35L dry bag? Roughly 24" long and 12" in diameter...

Can someone tell me the width in between the mounting rails on a tepui kukenman. With it oriented to open to the side of the truck. From the center of one track to the center of the other.

Lots of bolt on chrome stuff
I use one. love it. Even though it's supposed to be indoor safe I don't like to leave it running while I sleep. I warm the tent up before bed and again when I get up in the morning.

I tried to run it through the night once but the gf woke me up to turn it off because she thought I would burn the tent down :notsure:

ON a related note, it gets pretty cold but not terribly cold enough to justify my 0* sometimes. Whats a solid lightweight blanket(layer system even) that i can leave in the tent that'll do the job

The Teton Sports Mammoth bags are great if you want a queen sized sleeping bag. Mine is a 20° that stays in the tent all the time.

Pass out drunk on top of the 0* Teton? Dunno, that's what I do with mine during the summer months.
