It's like it has all the issues of the second gen, but at least it looks better inside and out. I can't help it that outback wagon owners flock to it now. It's the people who have ruined it.

Rear suspension like getting rid of the air bags or whatever is on there, or something else?

I'll give you the fact that the rear looks better. The front might from a Picasso standpoint.

The biggest thing is it's based off the 4 runner yet people have issues with the 4 runner v8... So.

Well I can't argue about the very front, but it'll get a little better once I start chopping.

I loved the motor in the GX, I miss being able to drive 85+ over the passes no problem.

Yeah, the power of the Tahoe was mucho nice... Along with the 18mpg i got in it.

The first time i test drove the Silverado, coming from Honda's and an xj or two, i hit the gas to merge in before traffic and slid that summovabish sideways. TORQUE!

Sadly i sold the Tahoe out here for $3500. Beautiful shape, built in sliding drawers in the rear, had the barn doors that i ended up liking a lot and 5 brand new tires. Stupid me and having county job and not being able to keep it.

Yeah, I'm guessing it's the all time 4wd... If only those 4runners with the v8 didn't look like ass.

I'd be all over a third gen(i think) 4 runner. 98-02, i love the looks of them. I had an 02 but it was 2wd.

Yeah, I've never liked the looks. The new ones look great but way too many people i know have ended up with them and bail after getting sick of not having any power.

    Too modded?

I've never heard of a street legal vehicle not being able to get coverage.

Some will not cover due to the age of a vehicle. I had similar issues when insuring that Scout in the beginning. I don't think this is his case though.
I think it's his age and being male. Young, single dudes always take it up the ass when it comes to insurance. If he was married and had one on the way, it would be no problem.

And rates are rising across the board, there is no doubt of that. Business ins went up $600.00 a year for me. Never had a claim. You think you have problems? Combine that with my homeowners, vehicle's, and that health ripoff...imagine what I pay per year for something I don't even use.

    Plus two divorces...

And don't get me started on the fucking income tax. Fuck i want to retire so bad.
