Labs looked good except cholesterol but I haven't been eating the leafy greens like I was when I initially started. A1C is 5.1 and bp was 119/73. Just gotta up the salads and do a little better with the leaner meats.

I quit getting them when I retired in 09. My exposure to the public is very limited so, as long as nobody in the family drags an illness home, I'm usually pretty good. And when they do we douse everything with lysol spray and it usually does the trick.

Thankfully I'm not in crowded public restrooms anymore. I'd carry lysol spray bottle with my tools.

Got it from the wife, down for about 36 hours. Now, an ache from my toes to my head. lost 5 lbs in one day. Starting on solids again...good times, good times.

 

Nope I've seen them on me moving with snow on me at the same time. Apparently there are a few breeds of mosquitoes around here like that too. I've seen them flying around at freezing temps. Ticks, mosquitoes, porcupines, there are a few critters I could do without and wish they would go into extinction. But they all seem to find a way to survive when they shouldn't.

Windex! Windex for the win! I saw it on TV so it must be true. Actually it does kill %99.9 of germs and bacteria, hmm.

And exhaust!

Seems like I trim my nose hair every day and it grows like a weed. But every time I get out of the shower the drain screen has more of my head hair in it. Getting older swear that hair grows where it shouldn't and starts falling out where you want it. Something normally not talked about much, but one of those facts of life for most people.

 

My sympathies. I hate that.

All we got was a little bit of sprinkles last night. Sunny and clear.

 

This storm reminds me of the 2010 deluge we got from a very strong Pineapple express , that storm also during the same time dumped 24" of rain in less than 4 days . There was major flooding , mud & debris flows and a lot of damage from that storm

The storm we currently have right now is also a Pineapple express but much weaker . right now still heavy rainfall but supposed to clear up by this afternoon

I got one a few years back at the VA and within a few hours I felt like crap . That flue shot gave me the worst flue I ever had !!
