Mikey, just passed through your thread. :) Thanks for the pics of how you positioned the BAMF shock relocate to clear the wheels at stuff!

I still love the astroturf in the bed. :)

A couple of questions for you.

Did you solve the castle nut fitment issue post gusseted spindle?

With your wheel choice, you can clear the tires without wheel spacers? No UCA / frame rub, etc. Still running stock LCA'a?

    Thanks!

Thanks, Nick! I ended up using some stainless steel cable to safety wire the castle nut. These wheels have just enough BS to clear everything. A lot of folks say 3.5BS is ideal to avoid rubbing with the BAMF shock towers, but I've tested full flex on both sides and have zero rubbing. I did add the wheelers 3/8" spacers to my bumpstops front and back for good measure, which appears to have done the trick perfectly.

Still running stock LCAs, and I've been gathering feedback from some members who have the TC stock-length lowers because those BJs seem to be one of the weak points with the extra weight.

Any plans to upgrade your lowers, apart from the bushings you did?

Hey did you say you need to run up Fig mountain to get more firewood before DV trip?

Want to cruise up tomorrow and explore some of the dirt roads before heading over to @doreydeluxe's place? Haven't been in the mountains in SB in forever haha. Down for some fig mountain brew co too.

    Thanks for clarifying.

On the back burner, I've been trying to gather information for a reasonable path to a larger tire size without too much headache, or too much cost. Not sure if I'll ever do 35, it would be fun I think, but need gears, money realy. I've been pretty happy with the performance from my 33's, so I might just stay there and call it good. I have about 1 or 2 years before I burn my tires up, so I have time on my side.

Next week I'll be rebuilding my front end and the reinforced factory LCA's with poly bushings that I have will go in. Those have some Moog LBJ pressed into them. I'll run those for a while and see how I like them.

I haven't heard of any LJB failures on our trucks from normal wheeling.

That's a big maybe. I'm going to help Scott's buddy Eric with his rear suspension tomorrow morning, so maybe if we get done early we can make a run up there? I picked up a permit to collect wood, which is good for the next 30 days, so I wouldn't mind filling my bed again.
