you know that a bullet will hit way before the target hears it right, since even slow rifle rounds travel @ 2x the speed of sound right? where a fast arrow will travel 1/3 the speed of sound and it would be possible to hear it before the arrow got to the target

 

Buddy missed a deer on our archery hunt because the deer jumped the string. Still really enjoy the sport of archery hunting though

When the deer hears the string snap after releasing the arrow and it jumps straight into the air. Arrow misses it by going underneath it

 

sometimes they hear it and duck and you shoot over them also. I have never had one duck or jump a .243 tho
