That's going to be tough. I roll mine up into an old duffle bag that's probably 18 diameter and 30 long and it's still tight. It all depends on how much effort you want to put into folding it though I guess. I also leave my floor attached.

Use one when it's cold out. only to heat the tent before bed and in the morning. if I take a midnight pee I'll run it while I pee too. j do t sleep with it on. but it works well and really heats things up.

Yeah.. i've already got one those teton bags the 0* one lol. that 0* is thick as fuck, no way i'd be able to keep it packed in the tent, unless i changed the way the cover attached, because the zippers are def showing signs of wear and tear trying to pack stuff tight in the tent.

Thats what i do as well :anonymous:

It's possible but it would be tight. Never tried to roll one up that small so I can't say for sure, but something like a 45L dry bag would probably be better.

Go with a genuine wool blanket. I received one for Xmas many years ago and love it. 95% of the trips we take I use a regular blanket with the wool blanket on top and never get cold. Only time I break out my 0° Teton is when temps dip below 30.

So how does everyone store their tents for winter? Like I don't really see how I could store it on the ceiling like most do... I think it would be cool to hang it on the wall.

    same shit as everyone else
Removed my tent for the season. This is the second season I've removed it. Last year I didn't notice such wear but this time I'm seeing some deep metal on metal rubbing going on. Very deep. It's really digging into the frame. Maybe 25% material has been worn away here. Same on all corners. Not sure why it's happening. It was bolted down very tight but onto my bed. Maybe bed/frame flex is showing here? I'm going to try to stuff a teflon shim between the surface this spring but has anyone else noticed this problem?

Haven't taken mine off in a while (probably over a year). I'll check tomorrow. You may not have the self-tapping screws in tight enough which is allowing that much rubbing. It's aluminum though, so at least you don't need to worry about rust.

Just encountered my first issue. Strap failure. Good thing I found my reusable zip ties.

This is pretty typical, I think. For the time being, I have guitar cable straps to keep the cover straps fastened.

Straps for the straps, if you will, as ridiculous as that sounds. I'll be replacing them with cam straps at some point this spring.

I store mine on edge on one of these, ratchet strapped in place. Makes moving it around the garage a breeze...

It was obvious pretty much right off the bat that my straps were the weak link. The 'cinch' straps were the worst.

But that's is literally the only thing I can complain about with my Tepui. Every other aspect is top notch, and once I replace all of the straps with something more appropriate, the tent will be bomber.
