Not true. At least the ones that I work with here in Providence give a damn. Feeling for them today being out in that cold.

 

I use the lantern battery because the cost to kill ratio is much less then 4AA batteries. as for only doing this in the fall I wish this is a year round war for me. I fight them in the house in the cars and the farm equipment. there are a good amount of fields around the house. I keep them out only by keeping on top of it year round.

 

almost forgot If you have a bird feeder that is a source of food for them as well.

 

I actually never used the electric kind so I have no idea, they may be better. I used the glue ones and I don't like them as much. And the water bucket I can't put in the ceiling plenum. I just like the snap traps because I can hear them and then throw the whole thing away. For some reason I only hear them in the walls in the fall. And I never have sign of them in the house at all, no poops on the counters, no holes in food bags... it's strange.

 

The thing I like best about the zapper is everyone in the house can reset the trap. my daughter opens the trash can closes her eyes turns the thing over. then closes the trash can never looking at the dead mouse. this is a win for me.
I use the snap ones at locations where I know the enter the building.
I don't use the bucket one myself.
someone told me the drier sheets for static work. I had no lock they just chewed them up and made a nest out of it.
I check the air box on the car as much as I check the oil. once they establish a nest they will come back to it. they constantly make a nest in the flywheel of a tractor even though there where some bad ending for some of them there.
its not bad now I'm in maintain mode

What is everyone getting their Wives, GF's, BF's, kids etc for Christmas or whatever holiday you celebrate?

 

Got the wife a couple Kate Spade bags and some clothes. Just need to fill her stocking now with some little things. I am the kid in the house for the time being, other than the pup. So I got myself skid plates with the RCI group buy and the pup gets things all the time lol.

 

Haha GF wanted an Apple Watch or new boots. I told her I would take her boot shopping she wants to go to a few places in Boston make a day out of it I guess. Never really realized how stupid girls shoes are lol!
She wants Frye riding style boots and they are like $350 and feel prettt cheap. Last boots I bought anywhere near that lasted 7 years and still going even though the sole is gone and the toe is splitting.

 

I been buying my wife some purses for the last few years. She's got a nice little collection of Coach, MK and Kate Spade bags now. Now she want's more jewelry

I'm glad my wife never really got into shoes. Last shoes (besides sneakers) that she wanted me to buy for her were a pair of Ugg's. Those were expensive enough
