Because we are right up against the mountains we always get a shit load of rain from the PE. Our area had the debris flows a few years back.

 

Hey kids,installed some new knobs on the radio,my arthritic fingers love them. Shoveled the roof, getting ready for another blast of winter. 24"+ snow so far this year and it's not even winter yet. Hope all is well with y'all.

 

Today is the first time I have called off in five years, last time was when I passed a kidney stone while doing an EEG on a kid. I get the flu shot also. If I don't then I have to where a mask from Nov until March anytime I am in a patient care area. Andy, I could stand to lose those 5# also but don't think I want what it takes to lose them. Get better soon.
@MQQSE-thanks for the Alaska info! Definitely getting a rental car up there and your other suggestions sound good too. I have used Air B-N-B in Tahoe and Santa Cruz, do you have them up there also?

 

Yep the PE storms are really bad , just checked my local weather station and I've had 2.76" of rain since midnite

Now only if I had my old Jeep Rock crawler and if the Forest Service had the John Bull trail open this would make for a fun day today !!

Yes, got them from Hondo Garage,says there for a 3rd gen but they fit my 2nd gen.

 

Thanks, like I said before I do a little bit of everything throughout the grounds and facilities. I'm not to proud to clean a restroom, dig up a sewer line, rip out a Urinal, replace a toilet, whatever the task is for that Day. I love being in the Park all day working. I eat my lunch in the shade at a picnic table along with critters everyday! I'm truly Blessed!
