I got a group 31-mhd interstate. Odyssey is 1150 cca and a reserve capacity of 205ah. The interstate is 950cca and a reserve of 195 ah but it's $130-$140 vs $350. So far it's had no issues running my fridge, camp lights and all other accessories. In April I'll have had it 3 years and so far so good. Odyssey claims 3-10 year life so if I get atleast 5 out of mine it's worth it.

 

They didnt total it... adjuster just called new leaf spring new gas tank new rear new tail light paint touch up on bumper alignment and the hardware(ubolts, shackles etc...) for under 6k

 

Just gotta be careful there's a version with marine terminals and one with automotive terminals if I remember next time
I go to the truck I'll see if there's a specific part number on it

Got mine local and with the core charge total was $130. Batt cables will reach but unneeded to get longer J hooks to tie it down with.

No frame twist?

 

When it was put on the truck the frame along the hanger was wavy I don't think they saw it I'm going to call my mechanic on Monday to tell him to look

And after checking the quote the dick head quoted me for stock parts and had told him there was aftermarket parts in it. I called him and left him a message and of course he works mon-fri 8-5 so hopefully I get that fixed before they get that shit

 

I had got 2 police cars with oddesey's in them they didn't last any longer than tha napa's i was buying.

I went through the same thing. Was a bunch of months and he finally answered me and said he sent one but it never showed up. I get so much mis-delivered mail I don't doubt it.

Damn.. all this battery talk.. how good are these batteries?? I am in need of one pretty soon. Even though I've had good experience with my interstate, I'm willing to give another brand a chance

 

From what I read from some of the other guys who are running a lot of accessories, this is the biggest one we can fit, and has good cranking amps and recovers well from full dead. A good alternative to a dual battery setup for now, but that's also on my list as well. Eventually want to throw in a GM alternator too for moar power.
