Because 1st Gen is still the best looking compact truck out there and they don't make em no mo.

Was in the same boat with you, nearly bought a 16 Quicksand and happy I didn't. Not because I didn't like the 16 but loved the mint black 04 more.

I love a 1st gen, just sold my 2004. Trouble is where I live they are all rusted to pieces. Too old.

Never lived in a rust area.

But if I did I would probably wire sand the frame and give a liberal coating of some sort, por 15 or whatever.

I did this to my trail rig [Jeep] and there was no rust to be found. Call me crazy... :der:

No doubt LA has been good to the body/frame.

Well it's -31 here today and Sunday is +12 real nice on vehicles. Sand and por15 all you want it would never last. Rust proofing is the only thing to extend the life of metal. Krown, rust check or fluid film.

Just got back from snowmobiling. Kept speeds under 65 mph, above that I could feel frost bite starting on my cheeks (yes I had snowmobile helmet.)

I don't like it this cold either. But if you dress for it it's doable.

That's about my perfect temperature. (64f) At least at -31 the black flies and mosquitoes are sleeping.

    pfft its not that bad.
hell I still go snowboarding when its that cold.

mind you I've had minor frost bite on both hands and feet from it lol. didn't lose anything but second they get a little cold they hurt like hell.
Still work in it too though.
Can't wait to get on the sleds at my buddys cottage, going to be so fun.

going snowboarding tomorrow though. got 10inches on wedneday and another 3 yesterday, supposed to get another 6 tonight.
and temps are around -18C with the wind so slopes can make snow if they need to.
    loving it.

There was enough snow today to get stuck a time or two. Go from sweating like crazy to 65mph and cold. Gotta love snowmobiling. As much hp as my old 2.7 taco and weighs roughly 500 lbs!
My iPhone shut off, it was too cold I guess. Once back to the 4Runner and warmed up it booted up and had 65% battery life. When I tried to start it up in the cold it showed a lightening cable end and a red battery. Lol haven't seen that one before.

that snow we got thursday made the drive home take an hour and a half to go 28km lol.

    supposedly 500+ accidents reported.
all the dumb fucks here in Toronto can't drive worth a shit when the weather gets bad. Either crawl at 20km on the highway or you have the dumb cunts on all seasons trying to do 120km in a blizzard and causing accidents. Hate this city so much. But all the work is here.

Happened to me once back in the day with the 6Plus. Was in Boss' Rapide for lunch. I left the p hone on the seat. Came back from lunch, it said "too hot to operate" or something ridiculous like that. Kept in the pocket for a bit, and it started right up.

So was watching my white trash show on the computer Alaskan Trooper. He was out to rescue someone in a Ford F250 long bed, access cab. Just got stuck in snow and was doing burnout standing still. So he gives up, and starts shoveling.

not only that i Frigin hate Ontario my son lives just outside of London the summer before last i drove from NB to ON to pick him up to bring him home to me in NB driving back from London and i hit Toronto around 330 4 I'm driving down highway ( you can't trust the flow of traffic in Ontario ) I'm going with the flow of traffic 110 - 120 going for about half hour of this speed everyone trying to get some where then that split second traffic stops come to a complete halt no movement what so ever I'm stuck for about an hour with traffic only moving 10 - 20

Good things grow in Ontario shouldn't be their slogan it should
"in ontario we give any body a driver license even if your braindead"
