Lol. When he told me that I was like uh I have seen my Uncle adjust his Icons without having to take them out. But his Icons didn't have the external reservoir like my Kings.

    A few things
The body doesn't spin, just the collar. Sounds like someone made a pretty penny off you.

I told him I'm not paying extra. Very adamantly. And he backed off. No way in hell you're gonna quote me at the shop then call me later to get more money out of me.

That's why this time around I am having my buddy help me put them on. Hence my thread

The res is for the shock itself. You're not turning the shock, you are turning the spring and spring perch collars which you do not have to take it apart to do so. Just like any other adjustable coilover suspension

Also preloading them to a full 3" isn't going to get you a super plush ride.

Like any other setup, the more you compress the coil the lesser the ride quality.

I get that. I had Bilstein 5100's before and didn't like the ride. That's why I went Kings with my previous Tundra and now my Tacoma. I enjoyed the ride on my Kings before.

If they have the resi, you need to be creative to adjust them on the truck.

The punch type tool works, but when you get to the part where the pinch bolt is... there's no room. It's like one side is easy to go down thread, and the other is easy to go up threads. You'll find out when you try it.

You mean the black tool they give you with the coil overs? I am gonna borrow my uncle's spanner wrench to adjust them

I have the same coilovers you ordered just with 700# springs with reservoirs and adjusters. No need to remove them, like everyone else said jack up the truck. If your worried about lean, trial by error till you like the way it sits. BTW I used a fox spanner wrench as well.
