So on August 13, 2013, I lost my '05 reg cab to a pretty awesome wreck that I miracle'd myself out of unscathed. I've missed my truck every day, and spent the last three years in a goddamned dodge grand caravan. Yesterday, it finally hit the point of needing repairs that cost more than it did in trade in value. To make a long story short, I was able to track down an '07 that wasn't stupidly overpriced and mechanically sound.

It. Feels. So. God. Damn. Good.

That '05 saved my life and I can't stop gushing to anyone that will listen about having another Tacoma. Plus, it's two years newer and has less miles than mine did.

    For reference:

No plans on what to do from here. I'm just so happy to have another Tacoma.

    I heard that a few times. ;)

Out of morbid fascination, I ran the VIN through Carfax about a year and a half ago and it was at auction up in Missouri. I kinda like the thought of that truck being parted out to keep others running. It never signed an organ donation card, though.

No, but I'm sad to hear about that. Mine was 3 years ago in Missouri at MM150 on 40W. I had to spend five days in Lebanon, MO getting everything sorted out with U-haul and the insurance companies. U-Haul were *absolutely* awesome, though. They dropped $500 (max coverage for the rental) in my bank account for medical stuff without me knowing any of the bills yet. 10/10.
