Did you get that magnetic tool holder for free, because the 2 I have were a HF gift, so it does pay to wait for the free gifts.

 

Yeah, got two for free so far as well. Right now they even have free shiet no purchase necessarily.

 

Honda is arguably the king of small engines right now

 

There is a guy locally that has a YouTube channel and on one of his yardsale videos, he picked up a Honda generator that the person couldn't get it working and was asking $250. The guy said he would offer him $100, because he was taking a chance to get it working and on the video he shows how he got it working again. Great pickup if you are handy and can repair small engines.

**Beware**, I bought that same transfer pump and I don't know if I did something wrong, but it didn't work for out for me.

 

That must be the only free light I haven't gotten yet and is on my list.

I threw mine out after fighting with it to fill my radiator on my car. I think half the coolant that entered that POS ended up on the ground.

 

I went for the cheapo tarp. Put it in my truck.

 

Yeah, when I did my differential oil more was on the ground than in the differential and keep reading the directions, thinking I was doing something wrong.

 

I always find uses for tarps and maybe because they don't last long, but can never have enough tarps.

 

Got one of their 300 piece tool sets. Every time I whip that out fixing jeeps or my taco the other guys have to mention how handy it is. Small case, 4x everything you need. 3 sized ratchets, pliersx, Allen's, metric and sae. Quite literally everything.

Add the 2ft breaker bar for 7$ and I've been able to break every rusted bolt or 90ft lb nut on my truck.

 

A tarp is always a good thing to have in your truck. Especially in winter. And rope. You always want to keep some rope (I got mine at HD).

 

I had an 18" breaker bar and returned one that broke, so just bought a 25" breaker bar for $8.99 for a back up.

 

I actually like the bungee cords, but sometimes rope is the only option.

 

Hit up garage sales. Pick up craftsman hand tool for cheap, pennies on the dollar if they are broken. Then take them to sears to exchange for a new one.

 

That is a great tip and have found old quality tools for mere pennies on the dollar, even being cheaper than HF with better quality too.
