You need to find out from tw what modems they allow outside of lease, some places that corner the market make you use specific ones.

If it's free game and you can do anything I would still look at doing 2 different units, although upfront the dual units save you money, as soon as one part goes out our screens completely, where with two units you can have one break or upgrade one and it not be as bad and normally get better product choices not a ton of good all in ones out there.

I was in a 12 foot by 12 foot room in a far away land governed by Islamic law. Just needed something to pick up our shitty internet so i could jerk it, talk to fam, and download pirated movies lol

That's my setup currently, it's even getting a little old to where there's a modem model higher giving 1.4ghz download but invade you can't even get out of the teens so the 684 one listed would be fine, the nighthawk is a great ad router there's a lot of options out there this is just the one I went with for the price back then.

I was at our last softball game and came home to try to get an hour of sleep before work, only to have the baby wake up so now she's asleep on me and I'm on tw lol.

These are the options I was given in an email for compatible modems and routers.

Sorry to thread jack. Probably should have taken this to the Geek thread.

@JTB727 Yeah that sounds like it would be a great combo. 20" bar and a pair of cubes. Also this way you can get the 20 and then save up for the cubes. Should be able to get good coverage with that option.

I know @cmack is running I think there 40in bar in his prinsu and likes it so far, they make a 27in one so that kind of works for your barely fitting a 30in issue but gets you a lot more then A 20in:
    https://www.theretrofitsource.com/led-lighting/off-road-lighting/xtorch-27-light-bar.html
    Also only $150
