    It's the principle, you pay for a service, provider delivers the service, when there is no service, provider continues to take monies, is unable to provide service over an unreasonable amount of time then that's where there is a problem.

    And they stated they will, just being told to wait and be patient they are aware of a problem and are working on it after 6 days of no service was a bit much and in that moment the patience wore out. I canceled service, if the Dish guy gets here before the Cox guy and can fix it then I'll keep them, otherwise onto the new service . . .

    Signed up for directv now a couple weeks ago, and prepaid for 3 months and got a free Apple TV. 35 bucks a month is the promo for their second highest tier package... I use this plus Hulu plus Netflix and I'm a happy camper.

    No delays or anything streaming and I have slow internet at the house

    Liked DirecTV when I had them years ago, they're one of the big 3 so I have to give them a look as well, just bummed about Dish as they're the only ones with Japanese programming and that's what the girls and their mom watch (you know, since they Japanese) most of the time . . .

I can grab some from work and drop a truck full off if you need it tomorrow morning I'll be hitting the 101 around 8:30am, I'm hoping to be able to stay and help for a little bit but have to clear it with the wife and see how she and the baby are doing after me working all night if she had a rough night of sleep I may just have to drop and go if you need them.
