I am very tempted to jump in on this. I noticed that info is sent via PM only, after reading the thread on the other forum. Any chance you can send me information on what's left.

So @aero3685 just an update on the tred recovery board. Finally filled out the stuff last night, basic info and brief description of what happened and 2 photos. Did it last night at 10 and got a shipping notice from them and FedEx today at 4. Im impressed.

Go to website, hit warranty, fill out the basic name, address, email, phone. When you bought it, Short description of how it broke, 2 pictures of it, and a picture of the recipt ( people that did kickstarter i just took a picture of the email we got when we pledged and no questions were asked. ) hit agree and submit

    Tred Pro Review

I've had mine since the kickstarter. So far I've used them in sand and in snow, and they have yet to fail me. I was solo on the beach and down to my rear axle in sand, took them out, dug a little sand from in front of the tires, put them in, and in about 5 minutes, I was out.

Snow seems to be a little trickier. Nothing to do with the treds, just snow is trickier in general. I have been stuck a few times now, pretty good. one time I got out solo with the treds and they worked as advertised. The other time treds + a yank which was no big deal. I could have gotten out by myself if I had to, but it was just easier with some help. The third time was a real doozy involving a snapped snatch strap, winching, shovelling and treds. Would have been a lot more difficult without them for sure.

I have definitely ended up spinning on them but haven't noticed any wear on the knobs which I believe is their main selling point. The shovel end works fine but I will always pull out my proper shovel for anything more then a few scoops. So far, no cracks or anything. Definitely lots of scratches and some gouges, but that's to be expected I feel, after driving over them and sometimes dragging them under the truck until you're in the clear.

The one thing I have found in the snow is you better remember exactly where you put each one, because they get buried super deep and are very difficult to find if you can't remember where you placed them before driving over them. The grey (what I have) Is probably even worse than the brighter colours, but I'm working on finding some bright strapping I can tie to the ends to help find them after they're buried.

IMG_0803.jpg this one was down to the axle on the rear driver side.
IMG_5789.jpg for this one, I ended up having to go forward through the ditch and back up, winching and with the treds to get out.

    Tred Mount Review

So I have a single Tred Pro mount from the kickstarter. I mounted it directly to the bed rail and it works perfectly. I have had no problems with it being too weak or anything. Some of the weight is supported by the wheel well, so that probably helps.

Personally, I've found that the locking handles are super easy to use and haven't failed me at all yet, even with 4 treds hanging on a single mount. No complaints at all with the mount. I like that it has lots of different options for how to bolt it to whatever you are wanting to. Including provisions for strapping it to something if that's what you were wanting to do.

Two would definitely be preferable and more robust, but as it is, I'm happy with how mine is working.

Solid review @WormSquirts thanks for mentioning the shovel end too. I figured it would be on the "if you absolutly have to" side of things.

Haha tell me about it. I don't have the tred pro, but I do have their 800 boards. First time using them to get myself out of a high centered situation in the snow, one of them got buried so deep that it took me a super long time to find. I stabbed the snowpack with a shovel to finally locate it.
