They make a thinner grit version for paint; power wash and you're done. Gonna go PDR route see if they can mostly straighten it out and then detail...

Upgraded to the TRD 17" rims and added weld on rock sliders with Bed coat material, Billsteins in the front set at 1.75, tinted windows.
Im in New Braunfels and work over off of Skycrest. There was a real cool, dark blue? 2016 with new rims and what looked like MT's in the bed of the truck. He was on Wurzbach PKWY.I saw him Thursday, nice truck! Santa must've showed up early at his place.

Wow, Activity on the San Antonio forum! I posted here a few months back about getting together for a meet and greet. Responses were few and then work pulled me in all directions. I'm good for Saturdays. I live in Boenre and agree with the Rim idea. I really do want to do some off roading with people who are experienced and can coach some of us new to the trail.
It's amazing how hard it is to commit to a date for everyone. If we can agree on a place that would be cool to hang out even if you are the only person who shows up, we could then simple say - San Antonio C&C is every third Saturday - And whoever shows up can meet Tacoma people or hang out with a cup of coffee and watch all the non Tacoma people for awhile.

Over in The Rim there is a little trail that a few friends and I go to every now and then. Nothing super technical. Two small hill climbs. Just a fun spot to get the truck dirty and hang out.

I've seen that trail. its where the road has a tight left turn after the new Hobby Lobby. Is that private? I looked down it once and there was a lot of water.

After some rain it turns into a creek at the entrance. There aren't any no trespassing signs.... idk whether it's private or not....

Hello fellow Boerneite. I thought there were some whispers of getting something happening over the holidays but it never got anywhere... or maybe I'm thinking of another forum. In any case, I think a designated day would be great. I'm jealous of the Austin C&C. We need our own.

Hello Popeye. I meet with a friend at Electric Coffee once or twice each month. He's got a 2013 Tacoma. I can let you know next time we are meeting and we can get together and talk over coffee. As far as monthly C&C's, we do need a cool hang out where others can join. Boerne is too far out of the way for many, but the Rim seems like a good spot, problem is they haven't got a cool coffee joint.

I take the Shelby to Cars and Coffee and I'll still have street tires on the Taco until after the holidays. Ive ordered one of those cheap 2" leveling kits so that I can add the tires and rims. Were taking the Taco to go play in the snow for its second time in Feb., Angel Fire NM.

Come on everyone. 2 days since someone has posted anything on the San Antonio forum. I wonder how many TW members are even in the SA area? We should have more posts in here.

From what I've seen, that's how it goes. Couple random posts here and there. I'm still down for a meetup should one happen. Maybe the morning of Christmas Eve or NYE (Sat). Meeting at the Rim was mentioned... I'm cool with that. Not much of a coffee/breakfast scene over there though. There is an IHOP with a decent parking lot I think (near Dick's).
