Same here.
But the all day everyday driving in the rat race in a big truck with a big ass phone number on side I don't miss at all.
Quality of life!

 

Maybe bring it up in a meeting, and get your coworkers on board with you. It's worth a try!

 

It's been tried by union a couple times, we can't get back there. But at least we do have our flex schedule, every other break is a 3 dayer.

Coming down pretty good here with about 3 inches on the ground already.
They bumped up the total to 6 inches before the rain/sleet line comes off the water...and later in the day too.

 

Check your homeowners first on breeds they will not insure now a mixed / indeterminate breed :}

Yep, but temps tomorrow are going to be mid 50's with rain.

 

Well, at least it'll melt fast ... hopefully nothing floods.

 

Sunday night will be interesting as temps will fall quickly, so all the rain/ runoff will flash freeze.

 

Sounds like it's quite dangerous driving conditions.
If I were up there I'd think I'd have a winter vehicle. One that had working heater and stuff but didn't care if played street pinball hitting stuff along the way.

Up till now, we're in a drought situation here. All the reservoirs are way down. At least the runoff will roll over the frozen ground and actually make it to the reservoirs.

Cousin in VA said they were a foot or so behind in rain. May explain how the Tennessee fires burned so fast.
