    but closer than VA..

    Last time I was up north, I went from VA to @stairgod 's place. Then Queens. Then slept, and then went to Lake Placid and back to Queens in 1 day.

    It's gorgeous there! Where's the pictures of the ski jumps? 1st time my friend saw them I told him what they were. You should have seen his reaction :eek: "No way! No way do people jump from THAT high!"

    We were in Utah for vacation this summer. The Olympic training facility was like 3 miles from our room. We stood at the top of the biggest ramp. I didn't even like standing there looking down. I can't believe anyone would ski down that damned thing...
