Haha, how much would this cost?

If I could do it for a few hundred I'd consider it.

But then I wouldn't be able to get any awesome pinstripes offroading =(

It's really deep, I'm going to have to figure out how to smooth it out because it's slightly indented in places.
Maybe a polishing brush and drill ?

    Same as everybody else...
I agree with others about the paint pen for an inexpensive quick fix. Sorry about your truck, people are awful.

Best advice I could give you for a DIY approach is to google "Kevin Tetz Scratch Repair" and watch his videos. Years ago, an older gent body man taught me how to fix paint chips. Very similar to the videos. I use a cardboard match cut at a 45 to gently apply the paint to the bare metal just enough to match the color. Let dry and then fill in with a two part clear. USC makes a clear in a spray can that is two part and has a pot life of 24hrs. Spray the clear into the lid and apply with the match brush. Let cure and finish using the razor scraper method shown in one of his videos. Compound, polish, wax. That's probably the best you'll be able to do as a DIY.

You might also Google Dr. ColorChip and check out their products. I haven't used it, but they've got an extensive list of products.

I would say to take it to a body/paint shop and show it to them, it dont cost anything to ask.

    No insurance?

Vandalism should be covered under Comprehensive. A claim should not make your premium increase.

You can fill the scratch with bondo to level it out after it cures.use 2000 grit then 5000 grit sand paper to level it down- sand bondo only. then use touch up paint to cover up the bondo.

After a day or two of letting the paint dry do a light sanding of 5000 grit sandpaper to blend it in to clear coat. You can use polishing compound then wax and buff it.

When you have a pic I'll look at the thread again.

I feel your pain. Some "Artist" keyed a mountain relief into the side of my truck while I was at the Four Corners Monument. I decided to leave it because as soon as I pay to fix it something else will probably happen in the same spot lol.

I've used the OEM paint pen for a few little scratches her and there. Best advice I could give is use a toothpick to apply the stuff.

For a temporarily quick coverup, just take it off road and cover it with mud.
