    Yes the diff is but the fj that uses that tube is all wheel drive using that tube in 2 wheel drive is gonna make way more drag and if you drive a lot it will start effecting tire wear

    Yup. Shock mounts on 1st gens are on the spring plate. So once you move the plate you need another way to mount the shocks in the same general location (or depending on the specific shock)

    FWIW: IMO the twin-stick case or an FJ case in general has limited advantages for an auto trans taco.
    Mated with a crawl box on a manual trans taco is a fucking game changer.
    The advantage of 2low and manual shift would not be enough for me to drop $$$ on the mod.
    I can think of several better mods for that amount of coin.
