The best prices I've found for TRD accessories have all been from out of state Toyota Dealers. For example I've gotten prices for a set of new TRD Step Bars for my double cab as low as $327 and as high as $465. Shipping would add another $70 to $100.

I then looked for used TRD Step Bars and found them for a little as $175. Private party shipping to a private party residence would coast another $180. All total I couldn't justify the cost of used when new was just a little more.

I took my truck in today to have the rear suspension TSB done. I decided I had nothing to lose by asking my local dealer if they would match the lowest price of the out of state dealer on the TRD Step Bars. They said yes.

Tomorrow, I pick up my truck with the AAL's installed, a new windshield, and pickup a set of step bars. My ScanGauge was delivered today and I've got Bilstein front and rear 5100s being delivered Friday. I hope to install the 5100s this weekend. I'm pretty pleased.

You didn't do too bad at $400. My dealers regular price for the Step Bars installed was over $550!

I've had good luck with my dealer matching prices as well. I was kind of surprised how quickly they agreed when I asked.

The TRD Step Bars are bascially a Toyota running board made for the Tacoma. They are made from a 5" diameter oval and are painted silver. There is a different size for a regual, extended, double cab short bed, and double cab long bed.

Just bought my Tacoma from David Mauss Toyota in Sanford. Told them the same thing, will buy if you can match the price. Went to the parts department and told him the website I saw the parts on and they matched, no questions asked. Bought a bed extender and bedmat. Guy was cool about and just had to show where the lower price was. Will be back there again.

Other mods-full synthetic, carbon filter, de-badged, center console lock.

Bought my truck from here as well. They are good guys. What did you get? It may have been the replacement for them selling my truck, luckily they had exactly what I wanted but only 1 4x4 trd model on the lot at the time.

^ dumb question but when I reinstalled these bars onto my 2010 the stickers indicate drivers/passenger sides on the bars. But if I followed the stickers advice the bend is at the front of the truck not the rear like this pic. Arethe bend supposed to be on the front or the rear? Or is it just personal preference?

Mine are gone now, I sold them, but when they were on the bend was at the front. The pic I posted is the passenger side looking from front to back.
At the right of the pic you can see part of the front tire and the holes where the mudflaps used to be.

I found a number of sites that had $320 something prices. As I was trying to find the one that had the $325 price, I actually found one for less (not much less but still less). Here's one for $319.
