Looking for a spare wheel (if it has a tire, that's great too!)

17" needn't be anything special. Just the basic black spare.

Anyone have one sitting around they don't want?

I figured that was a TW member.

I was out test-driving my new driveshaft from http://southbay-driveline.com/ South Bay Driveline.

It's pretty smooth all the way up through highway speeds and any speed I'd use driving to e.g. Moab or Death Valley, and any speed I'd need while passing someone on the highway. On past that it picked up a noticable thrum.

But it's smoother than the OEM was, I think, even before I dented it and knocked off a balancing weight. It does have a distinctive audible "sing" that plays into the cacophony of the truck. Not as loud as the tires, but definitely noticeable.

I'm keeping the old one as a trail spare.

Drat. Now I have to delete an old post somewhere to get back to post 6000.

1998 sr5, 3.4L automatic, j shift t case, bilstein shocks. 17" scs wheels and 265/70 cooper st maxx. Recently I have replaced the valve cover gaskets, steering rack and outer tie Rods. Front brake pads, lower ball joints, oil and tranny fluid flush, replaced the ac condenser and charged the system. Air filter, added a 3D printed cup holder, replaced the sloppy shifter with a nice unit off eBay. Runs and drives great, has a small oil leak that I've been chasing hence the valve covers and rack. I have some rear lift Springs that will go with it to level it out and a stock tow package. I also put on an outgear solutions roof rack that's really nice. It has... 207,000 miles. $4700 pretty firm with rack and wheels. I'll go lower without the wheels and rack.

All work has been done under my ownership so it's not on the word of the previous owner. Might sounds high but current market it seems anything under 200k miles is over $5,000

Damn you've put in work on that thing! What rear lift springs do you have? Might be interested in picking them up...

Also just had one of the worst oil changes of my automotive career. A friend came over to do a tire rotation and oil change in his Ford escort. Already a pain because I have to jack it up just to rear the drain plug. Well we get all 4 tires rotated easily but my friend breaks a stud as it was cross threaded before.

That's fine and we move to the oil change. It spills all over but luckily had my pan under so we're good. I install the new filter but my wife is yelling at me to take the baby so she can leave. I quickly put it on, fill the engine and let it run. That's when we hear the lovely sound of liquid going everywhere. Turns out the oil filter seal was stuck to the block and I installed the new one onto it. Oil everywhere. Finally cleaned it all up and 2.5 hours later we are done with that crap. So frustrating.

Got the new colormatched grille installed. Thanks to @jqueener @Fernando and @916TacoTruck for help with picking it up in Sac and meeting up with me to handoff.
Also a big thanks to @Iggy. for helping me turn my weatherstripping into swiss cheese while we installed the Prinsu rack.

    Much appreciated
