Hey guys, I just want some feedback on whether I should remove the TRD Off Road decal on the bed of my white 2016 Taco DCSB 4x2. Also, I got my Taco in February 2016 and the paint is still in great condition and hope it hasn't faded leaving a decal outline. If I do, any tips on removing it?Any feedback would be appreciated. :)

I'm not a fan of stickers or badges so of course I'll say remove it. You can use a heat gun (LOW setting), hair dryer or just let it sit in the sun and start peeling. You'll get minor residue left over, goo gone or lighter fluid will take care of it followed by your flavor of wax. Peel on my friend.

I used a hair dryer to remove mine on my 2005, and there were no issues with the paint being faded, so you should be good

I have a different truck and different sticker (2nd gen, TRD Sport) but I removed mine. If you're planning to get a cap on a 3rd gen I would definitely remove the sticker. The sticker ends up being too close to where the cap meets the bed and just doesn't look right, but that's just my opinion.

(Lick 'em and stick 'em. )

Get that hokey crap off of there !

Follow direction by others above. Do it nice and slow and store them between sheets of wax paper under a flat weighted object and maybe put 'em back on one day if you miss them.

    My guess is you won't.

LOL, those things will be so stretched out and ruined after you yank them. I've got the same truck and contemplating taking them off too. I hate washing it and getting all the grit on the edges of the clear carrier film. If I like the stickers that much for more + HP, there are much better cosmetic options that aren't the factory ones.

    I'd say do it!

I chose to remove mine, and all the chrome badges. I like mine to be mysterious. Dealer removed my backs trd stickers when it went in for the dealer protective coating.

I pulled mine the day I brought the truck home, exactly one year ago today. Hit it lightly with the heat gun and they pulled right off.

I would rather paint the chrome bumper caps white and remove chrome badges first
