    I guess I am no good past 500 ish yards or rather I should say I and my glass are no good past 500 . I really can't shoot long range here much so I do not see the point in buying really expensive glass to go longer. More a fan of short range toys . I do have one rife I like to shoot and no glass needed :} Marlin .444 I can hit a soda can top at 150 yds with it :} with more force then a 44 mag if the math is right :}

    If you are referring to the RF4C more cinder blocks :} Look up the glide ratio 2:1 if your more then a mile from a run way at max angels 67k (?) and both motors go out pull the handles cause you are not making it no matter what you do lol They proved put a big enough motor behind a block and it flies lol course it also takes all 600 gallons from the centerline tank just to get off the ground to do so .:}

    My Dad loved SOS and called it that. never heard it as chip beef on toast until as a teen. He ate it at least once a month after leaving the army. Until we were old enough to complain

    I remember back in 1982 at MCAS El Toro when the CO's of MAG 11 and MAG 13 had a impromptu air show over the base. During lunch not sure of what squadron but one had the new FA/18A model and the other had the F4 phantom

    They wanted to find our what bird was better the phantom or hornet . they were really pushing them hard on a couple simulated dog fights
