Thanks Loginfailed for checking up on me.

Right now I'm installing the updated injectors back onto the manifold.

BUT! Sadly I snapped one of the bolts that holds the fuel pipe in place!!! It's 5:40 here in San Fran, no toyotas garages open to grab another bolt. So now I'm frantically at a hardware store trying to find a replacement!

Damn, that sucks! Hopefully you can find one. I think those bolts are M6x1.0 thread but don't remember the length. I'm not sure where you're located, but in my area, the best selection of bolts can be found at Ace Hardware.

EDIT: Oh I missed you said San Fran. I think there are Ace Hardwares there, too.

Damn youre good. Ended up being a M6 , 65 in length. Found one, but doesn't have the same amount of thread. I hope it works.

    URD 255 fuel pump installed.
PITA in my opinion. Doable for anyone decent with a wrench. Just not a fun job.
The factor pump filter was black and packed with debris. Kind of interesting how the URD kit goes together.
Mine had a new type of hose clamp. It appears they solved the issue with the old kits cutting hoses and failing.
I feel confident that the pump will be trouble free.
But more importantly What a difference!
2.85 pulley and that pump...man she screams!
Mandatory mods for S/C'd Tacoma's if you as me.
Noticeably smoother and stronger power delivery with the new pump.
I drove it for 1 day with the pulley upgrade before switching out the pump.
The pump alone DID make a difference.
Now I feel like I can give her the beans with out worrying I'm gonna blow it up :1up:

As long as you can tighten the bolt down the same as the other bolts it shouldn't be an issue.

I never ran the S/Cwithout the URD pump kit. I installed it a week or two before I had the supercharger so I don't have any basis for comparison. I can say that the factory sock filter gets pretty clogged though. My truck only has 25k miles on it and mine was pretty dirty.

The filter alone probably makes a difference. But the size of the factory pump is pretty tiny in comparison to the Walbro so I'm sure that can't hurt.

I've been saying this since the get go. An upgraded fuel pump should come standard with the S/C IMO.

Sad that Toyota has this "never requires maintenance" philosophy with their equipment. Transmission, fuel pump... those are two things that, in my mind, require routine inspection if not outright maintenance.

Cool info about the difference the pump makes.
The strange thing is even with the filter collecting debris there are plenty of yoters running around with 200k or more without issue.

    Totally
But with forced induction that's when you run into big problems

Yeah, i cant imagine the steel curlie fry in my filter sock was helping anything... and sadly the tech i did the install with said hes seen that a few times before. Now considering this was only his 2nd fuel pump upgrade, i wonder why he was taking other toyota fuel pumps out when he noticed the steel pieces.... shoulda asked.

Sweet setup!! Looking to invest in gauges before I install my S/C. Quick question, where did you run all your pressure sensors for the guages?

    Very nice! Looks great!

    You're in good company!

I'm considering one. I installed one on my Shelby (also forced induction) and it prevents quite a bit of oil from fouling the intercooler. Be nice to do the same here...

I did some searching this morning and saw a couple of threads. There's one that's like 38 pages but I didn't have time to read through it yet.

One of the threads in the title lists an eBay catch can and they have it mounted in a non-supercharger application where my LTR reservoir is located. Seems like a good spot for an NA build. I'll probably have to make my own ghetto fab bracket to mount the can somewhere else. I've been studying the engine bay and I have a few ideas. But I'll just wait until I have the catch can on hand to see where I like the best. Amazon says it'll be here Tuesday.

I've had one for years. It catches a ton of crap in mine. Not sure with the SC if it will catch more, I hope not. Last time I changed the oil and filter before installing the SC, when I emptied the catch can, it was almost to the top. I have decided to check/empty mine every 2500 miles now after that. I believe mine is called the ADD W1. It works very well. I can post a pic of where it is mounted if you like. I would like to move it though, I don't know if I like where it is now but not a lot of options.
Edit: here is mine https://www.amazon.com/ADD-W1-Unive...00EGIKL9W/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8 but in black.
