I'm saving any clutony for Christmas dinner and the brisket. I had to skimp on Thanksgiving because of the labs. I figure I can let.it go just a little between Christmas and New Years. I'm actually doing really well. Lost 25lbs and getting things back in line where I may just live long enough to die of something other than a stroke or heart attack.

Some isolated areas in my area are going to be single digit temps by morning , I'm under a freeze warning plus Santa Ana's are picking up and the reason for the freeze warnings

Some of the flights were. One of his friends had 5 delays that put him flying tomorrow (actually today now that it's 0130).

Around 3 depending on traffic. Cops are thick on the roads so I wasn't pushing much past the speed limit especially having a cdl. The fines are higher.

I'm glad we don't have those here but we do have some pretty good wind events. They just usually aren't as channeled because the mountains aren't as tall and they are further apart so they just don't have that velocity.

This cold weather here is worrying me especially the motor in my Camaro !!

I'm just running straight water in my radiator & engine block as per NHRA track rules . my area is supposed to get down to below freezing tonite . Don't want any engine damage from frozen water

It parked inside my garage with a car cover over it but the garage itself is not insulated

I guess that means we'll get home closer to 0600. He's got about 45 more minutes. I found an on-line flight tracker.

Hopefully it'll be fine being garaged. If you get a hard freeze the freeze plugs should do their job.

Toss a small electric heater out there as long as the door isn't opening it should keep it above freezing. I do it in my 1 car since I keep all my paint and adhesives etc in there. Woke up aching a fair bit with luck I will be able to go back to sleep in a bit.

 That thing I said about wanting more snow ... reading this makes rethink that. Yep, very happy with the few inches we got here yesterday. When the sun is up later, think I'll clear the driveway and maybe even string a few Christmas lights in the forecasted toasty positive teen temps. Thanks for putting it all in perspective for me Mike. :)

... also on the Mil-Art coffee cups; they are practically indestructible. I've had a lot of "work coffee cups" over the years. Most end up with busted handles or worse sooner or later. That ARRS one by Mil-Art that I posted a pic of is the one that survives.

I'm up because I still sleep can't more than 2-4 hours at a time. I'll catch another nap after a bit. 24°F here with a 14°F windchill. Supposed to cool back down into the teens for a high today.

"50°F" We'll be down there end of January for a long week. :)

    Is Yuma considered "high desert?"

Looks good to me in this pic.

    How about this one? :smack:

    Good on you!

That is why I've started working out regular again. Been retired from active duty 7 yrs now. Finally quit smoking last March. Decided it was stupid to do that, then let this big spare tire around my middle put me in the ground early any way.

More power to ya brother.
That should put him ahead of the main wave going back.:fingerscrossed:

Didn't realize the higher fines part; I reckon that's regardless of on the job or not.

I use FlightAware app; on and off the job.

That dull aching is between your ears :boink:, go back to sleep.

I kid, I kid ... What good is your pain if I can't make fun of you.

Yep, x3 on the small space heater.
