Vehicle is a '14 Tacoma DCSB 4x4, lifted about 2.5 in front and 2.75 in the rear.

The time has come to get some new tires. I am wanting to go with an M/T tire in 285/75/17, 295/70/17, or 315/70/17. I've read quite a few threads and seen people run all 3 versions. I know it's all about how much cutting and pounding I will have to do to get them to fit.

They will be going on some 17x8.5 Ray 10's with 4.30 BS. I know this isn't an optimal BS to run the 315's. I am leaning more towards the other 2 sizes, but there are limited options on the 285/75/17's. I am cutting my fenders 2 inches and will be doing a cab mount chop for sure. I haven't needed the CMC with my current 285/75/16's but the ST Maxx tend to run small.

I would appreciate input from those that have experience running these sizes. Pro's and cons, opinions, recommendations, etc. I'm just having trouble deciding.

TRD supercharger, URD 2.85" stealth pulley, TRD exhaust, TRD intake, DTLT headers, URD y-pipe, TRD boost gauge, PLX DM100 touch with OBDII and SM-AFR modules, 885 OME 3", Icon UCAs, Satoshi grill, Solid rear window, SCS stealth 6, 285/75/17 toyo AT2.
Not a MT, but I just installed toyo at2 285/75/17 on stealth 6s. Lots of plastic cutting up front, cmc and flattened pinch weld.

Didn't need to alter the fenders/flares, besides the lower rear corners.

Not trying to throw you off but what about some st maxx coopers? I got 255/80/17 and have no rubbing or trimming bc they are narrow.

Spindles , Bilstein 5100s set @ .85, eibach coils, rear 4 inch block. FJ steel wheels, 285/75/17 g2s

I chose the 285/75/17 Nitto G2s, IMO you might want a little more lift if you go this route. Mine clear fine but I have spindles, 1.6 coils and billies @.85 and 4 inch block in the rear. They are just a hair under 34 inches tall and 11.5 wide.

I already have ST Maxx, I've run 2 different sizes and just wanted to change it up and go for a true MT.
